Tampa Bay Titans Hockey Club

Michael Anthony Grande was born on August 5, 1975 in Huntington, New York. Michael enjoyed growing up on Long Island where he started playing roller hockey at age 9. He made the transition to ice during Junior high school and played for his varsity high school team. He then went on to play Division 3 collegiate hockey at the State University of New York College at New Paltz. In 1993 Mike Graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelors in Communications. He continued playing ice hockey with the 112th precinct of the NYPD. In 2000 Michael moved to the Tampa area to be closer to friends and family. He currently plays in various adult leagues in the area.

In 2000 Mike began his coaching career. He joined the coaching staff for the Jr. Lightning coaching their peewee and bantam team. In 2001 Michael became head coach of the Seminole High School team and in 2003 jointed the Hawks Hockey club coaching the Midget U18A team which is the level he currently coaches with the Titans.

Mikes coaching experience includes:
Level 3 USAH Certified Coach, soon to be level 4 advanced in August ‘05
5 yrs hockey coaching experience from the rec levels to Travel Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget levels

Mike works for Verizon Wireless and resides in Land O Lakes, Florida with his wife Erin.
