Following is the uniform and equipment policy discussed and agreed to at the last Board meeting. Please take time to discuss with your parents and players so that anybody purchasing gear knows what to expect. We want to achieve the best balance of team identity and affordability so we are phasing in the uniform requirements over the next two years. If you communicate the goals now and give parents and players time to plan ahead as they make equipment purchases
we should be able to minimize the financial impact:
- Players are expected to have Titans home and away jerseys and socks for games. Players are also expected to have Titans red shirt and blue warm-ups for pre & post game wear on game days. Returning players who need to get new gear and new players will be able to obtain gear at the Hockey Zone @ TBSA. We should stay with numbers only and no names on the game jerseys except for Mite & Squirt teams to focus on team identity. Teams are welcome to add player names, numbers, etc. to the warm-ups.
- Beginning with the Fall 2006-2007 season Titans players must have blue pants or shells in proper color. Pants and shells will be available at the Hockey Zone beginning with the Spring 2006 season. We encourage any parent or player buying new pants to get the Titans blue pants now.
- Beginning with the Fall 2007-2008 season Titans players must have a blue helmet in proper color. Helmets will be available at the Hockey Zone beginning with the Spring 2006 season. We encourage any parent or player buying a new helmet to get the Titans blue helmet now.
